What personal information we collect and why we collect

When visitors leave a comment on the site we collect the data provided in the comment form, as well as the ip address of the visitor and the user agent's browser string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to Gravatar to see if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in connection with your comment.

If you upload images to a website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract all location data from images on the website.
